The teenage years - they aren't always easy. There are often pressures from school, social media and friendships. There can be moments of self doubt and anxiousness. There are often worries over the future and family disagreements...the list goes on! If you know a teenager to whom this may sound familiar, then this warm, welcoming session is for them. A wonderful way to support teenage wellbeing, the evening will guide children and young adults in feeling relaxed yet empowered as we check in with both mind and body, building self awareness when it comes to visiting thoughts and feelings. The Workshop will include; A check in with mind and body A chance to discuss or reflect on hot topics such as anxiety, school, friendships, exams, body image, social media, the future. (Please note, there is never any pressure to share anything or talk, this can be done as a private, creative activity). Exploration of grounding techniques and coping strategies Free creative time A meditation and relaxation. These lovely evenings don't come with any expectation to share thoughts or emotions, and instead focus on proactively building those all important coping strategies for today's fast paced world. Spaces Limited to 4. Drink and snack also provided.
