Starting school. 2 little words, many big feelings.
Is your child starting Primary School in September? Do they need a little support to uncover their magic and to remind them of their bravery and courage? Would they benefit from space to work though any tricky feelings and prepare for school in a child led way?
If so, this fun, interactive, nurturing workshop is for them.
Through a blend of Creativity & Play and Nature & Wonder, children will have the opportunity to address any starting school worries, to challenge those tricky, jumpy thoughts, and uncover their deep rooted courage and bravery.
This session will include:
A hello to core emotions and ways to make friends with them
Fun, creative activities to share and move worries through
A chance to explore their unique character traits and remember their magic
Getting friendly with the their bravery and courage
Opportunity for playful movement and to tap into the mind and the body connection to support them with ongoing wellbeing techniques
Consideration of the school day and ways to make new friends.
Investment includes all creative materials, a drink and snack. Children will also take home a goodie bag and certificate.
The session is SEND inclusive.
Parents are requested to drop their children off for the start of the session, and then collect them at the pick up time.
