Welcome to Root, Rest and Roam. I can’t wait to welcome you into a space to nourish and nurture both yourself and your little one, at Katie’s House, East Grinstead.
This gentle, playful, beautiful class is designed for pre-schoolers ages 2-4, and their grown-up. At Root, Rest and Roam, children are invited to move, stretch, balance and build their self-awareness through imaginative yoga, nature, stories and creative activities.
Each session supports little hearts and minds to build confidence, and key skills for emotional wellbeing in a relaxed, welcoming space.
Meanwhile, for you wonderful parents, the class offers moments to build connection, alongside the opportunity for you to check in with yourself. To pause, breathe and recharge, nourishing your mind, body and soul, while leaning into the calming elements of nature and the seasons.
This series of supportive, warm sessions blends mindful movement and rest so both parent and child will leave feeling grounded, connected and refreshed. You will be reminded of your magic.
And, please don’t worry. Children are designed to move! While we will encourage and lead from a place of calm, they don’t need to stay glued to their mats. We will be alongside you to create a class that works for children’s energy, and everyone is welcome.
Please wear comfy clothing you can move in. All equipment is provided, but please bring a drink and anything you or your little one might need. There are onsite toilet/changing facilities.
You can sign yourself and your little one up for the term, which will run across the following dates, from 9.15am-10am:

The new term will the begin on Wednesday 4 November and details will be sent out in due course.
The price shown is for the both of you to attend. If you have more than one preschooler that you’d like to bring along then do get in touch and I can send you a separate booking link.
Katie’s House is in East Grinstead town centre, and there are plenty of town car parks, including the ones located at Chequer Mead theatre and Vicarage Road, both of which are a short walk away.
