Easter Holiday Workshop

  • Lingfield and Dormansland Community Centre High Street Lingfield, England, RH7 United Kingdom (map)

Want somewhere that the kids can have some fun this Easter? Look no further.

This Easter, the popular Nurture Meadow workshop is back.

Designed especially for children ages 6-11, this session will build on the foundations of wellbeing, whilst encouraging children to get creative, move and celebrate the qualities and characteristics that are unique to them.

As the season changes we will begin with a hello to Spring and indulge the senses with nature craft. The children will then have some time for their own creative activities so that they can engage the right side of the brain and create in a way that feels positive to them.

Our time will then bring us together for some games and discussion around 4 big emotions - excitement, anger, fear and disappointment. We will embody each emotion, as we playfully explore what happens in the mind and body when that emotion comes to visit. Of course, a TNM workshop wouldn’t be complete without allowing the children to consider coping strategies, so we will encourage moments that bring to life ways to move big feelings through - from pen explosions to planks, to support young minds in developing their emotional regulation skills.

After a busy session, we will then slow the pace down and explore a yoga flow and story, before ending on a visualisation to introduce basic meditation skills.

Children will leave relaxed and empowered, with a certificate and small Spring gift.

This session is a drop off session. Drop off is at 10am and collection at 12pm.

The session price is per child and includes all creative materials and resources, in addition to a snack.

This is an inclusive session for all. If you, or your children have any specific concerns, disabilities, or uniqueness that you’d like to chat about then please do get in touch for a chat so that we can ensure they get the most from the workshop on the day.

Please encourage children to wear clothes they can move freely in, and bring a drink along too.
